Your vehicle’s AC not working is caused by a freon leak or a bad compressor. Another reason for your air-conditioning not producing cold air is because your vehicle is a hybrid. The air-conditioning system is powered by the engine, meaning if your car is in EV mode then the engine will stop running and won’t power the air-conditioner.
If the air-conditioning is on but the fan isn’t blowing cold air then you might have a blown air-conditioning fuse. Fuses help protect car components from a power surge and even though it may just have to get repaired, if the AC fuse continues to pop then it’s possible you have a larger problem at hand.
